EMES provides clients with professional consulting and contracting to fulfill their needs associated with leaking
underground and aboveground storage tank systems. These services include investigation, feasibility studies, free
phase petroleum product removal, remediation of petroleum contaminated soils and groundwater, and preparation of
reports for submittal to the DNRE.
Investigative capabilities and the integrity of the data that is produced are very important in addressing today's
complex environmental problems. EMES' project integrative approach requires that any investigation be performed
in a structured and purposeful manner. EMES develops a scope of work tailored to a site's specific conditions and
systematically formulates informed responses to regulatory inquiries. EMES has experience in conducting
Preliminary Site Assessments (PA) and Remedial Investigations (RI) for a wide range of clients with many different
needs. EMES uses a multidisciplinary team to design and implement PAs and RIs on a site specific basis. Complete
documentation - including work plans, quality assurance plans, health and safety plans, and community relations
plans are developed to meet regulatory requirements. When necessary, EMES staff works with regulatory personnel
to keep the investigation process moving smoothly.
